| Slash Burn Opportunity
The District will have special burn equipment at the MHOA burn pit, located on CR35 north of Jefferson on July 26th and 27th.
The cost is $200 per household for as many loads as they can bring during the two day event. The Burner will be setup in the pit and have homeowners bring their "slash only" to the pit. Homeowners will be responsible to unload their slash into organized stacks. Jefferson-Como Fire staff will operate and load the burner. The District will also collect the $200 payment (cash, check or credit card) and track which properties are participating. The hours of slash unloading are 8AM to 4PM, note the gate will be closed at 4PM in order for the fire department to complete the day's burn.
